Probably my favourite bishoujo artist of all time, the amazing Kantoku has released his usual new illustration doujinshi at comiket. Renka blog kindly took some photos so we can see a sample of what this god-like illustrator has in store for us this time:
Christmas is now behind is, and that means winter Comiket is right around the corner! Unfortunately we can’t go this year as we’re trying to save up, but that doesn’t stop me stalking my favourite artists’ twitter accounts to see what I’ll be missing out on.
This year actually looks pretty great overall, but I haven’t seen anything much sneaked from Kanzaki Hiro or Akio Watanabe who are usually among my go-tos.

Scans recently surfaced on yande.re of a doujinshi Artbook from Akihito Tsukushi (under the circle name Doorbeetle). It was originally published in 2 parts at Comiket 75 and 78.
If you’re not familiar with the name, he’s the Mangaka behind Made in Abyss. His artwork has an astonishing level of organic detail and creative flourishes and that’s on full display in his earlier doujinshi works. His world and creature designs are always so rich with imagination! He also has an obsession with lolis and shota that slips into his artwork quite often (can’t complain about the former).
They should make an anime out of this world too!
